A woman who lives in the house murders her husband and then claims she doesn’t recall how or why she committed the crime. KD Pathak is the one to take on the matter, since the suspect believes that she was injected with a mysterious drug with serious adverse negative effects. However, the case becomes very complicated to prove because an enormous pharmaceutical corporation is attempting to have this incident closed and their undercover agent could do anything to stop it even killing KD. KD is able to win this difficult job and proves this pharmaceutical corporation is responsible for the crime and is able to get his client free. However, KD is aware that the circumstances don’t look normal for his client and can conclude that further inquiry is necessary. KD then entices the pharmaceutical company to file an appeal to the courts and establish that the client was not intoxicated by the substance, and then she is sentenced to prison.
