Jogmaya the mother of Chandra becomes frightened when she learns from his widowed daughter-in law, Anandamoyee, about Chandra’s absence from his home. In the meantime, upon hearing about plans of the villagers to burn the house of a family in need, Chandra decides to save the family. Rakhal and the other villagers begin the fire in response to the order of Ratna Thakur as an urgent warn to Harekrishna. The family of Rani is terrified. Chandra then fights off the intruders to defend Harekrishna’s family.
